Fun With Eggs

Well it's the day before Easter and I have 20 hard boiled eggs in my fridge waiting to be dyed. My kids are super excited about the bunny coming to hide them tomorrow. They are looking forward to finding eggs more than any candy or presents they will get. They absolutely love to hunt eggs. Our son had an egg hunt earlier in the week at library school. He had a great time. So anyway time to color some eggs. I truly believe mom and dad have just as much if not more fun than the kids do coloring eggs. We truly are big kids at heart. We love to write messages on the eggs with the wax pencils. I especially love to wear my bunny ears. We colored the brown eggs laid by our hens. We did this for the first time last year. We weren't sure how the brown eggs would turn out, but they did really really well. So we did them again this year. Why buy white eggs when there are free ones in the backyard. We used a camo egg coloring kit this year. We really liked the nontraditional colors (we are a very camo family anyway). Well it took about 40 minutes to set up dye the eggs and clean up. We all had a great time and we have some nice eggs for the bunny to hide.
Of course dad was there He always has the most fun of anyone
Junior chemists at workOf course his eggs had to be pink
The final product

To say the least the bunny will not be bringing daddy what he wants for Easter. Shame on you daddy!
